Cristiano Ronaldo ontkent verkrachting, Der Spiegel gaat in de tegenaanval en gooit bewijslast op Twitter
Het Duitse magazine Der Spiegel beschuldigde vorige week Cristiano Ronaldo van verkrachting door de Amerikaanse Kathryn Mayorga. Aantijgingen die de Portugese stervoetballer staalhard ontkende: "fake news", klonk het.
"Ze willen zelf beroemd worden door mijn naam te besmeuren", reageerde CR7. Ronaldo besloot via de Duitse topadvocaat Christian Schertz het medium aan te klagen.
Christoph Winterbach, sportjournalist van Der Spiegel, gaat nu in de tegenaanval met de publicatie van 24 tweets. Daarin reconstrueert hij het verhaal van de verkrachting die negen jaar geleden plaatsvond. Verder laat Winterbach documenten zien die zijn versie moeten staven. Wordt ongetwijfeld vervolgd.
